The Chlorophytum Comosum or better known as the common Spider Plant, incredibly popular as it is so easy to grow. One kind of spider to not run away from! As it grows it forms a stem of baby plant off shoots, which can be replanted.
He’s very tolerant of neglect, let him dry out almost fully between watering and don’t let him sit in a puddle of water. Mist the leaves every so often with water to increase humidity as in the wild, it’s most commonly found in tropical parts of Africa and Australia.
He likes bright, indirect light for best growth, he will be fine in lower light too if you lack light in your home.
